Job summary

Nordstrom is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in delivering a safe, well‑maintained store environment for customers and staff. You will support the Facility Manager, execute preventive maintenance across HVAC, elevators, plumbing, and electrical systems, and mentor junior technicians at multiple Nordstrom locations.

You will also coordinate with stores, vendors, and internal teams, perform on-demand repairs, ensure safety protocols, and maintain accurate CMMS records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 5+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic I/O and low voltage signals; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to alarms.
• Mentor other technicians and assist FM with training.
• Coordinate with vendors, parts ordering, and project meetings.
