Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in delivering a safe, well‑maintained store environment. You will support the Facility Manager, ensure HVAC and building systems readiness, and handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with store leadership to keep operations running smoothly. Strong mechanical, electrical, and CMMS skills are essential in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or higher degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform both on demand and planned Preventive Maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; troubleshoot alarms via EMCS.
• Mentor other technicians and document maintenance procedures.
• Assist with parts ordering, vendor management, and meetings.
