Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Specialist to oversee operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of building systems in a commercial/industrial environment.

You will balance hands-on maintenance with technical planning, project coordination, and operational support. The role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and fire protection, with 4+ years in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in facilities maintenance or similar roles.
• Experience with commercial/industrial facilities preferred.
• Licenses: valid driver’s license; forklift/JLG/aerial lift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot facility utility and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS).
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans; monitor equipment performance.
• Lead troubleshooting, coordinate vendor activities, and support capital projects and upgrades.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure records are audit-ready.
