Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform PMs and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations, strong communication, and ownership of assigned tasks.

The technician will be cross-trained and work in a “flow to the work” environment, supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems while coordinating with site management and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some business or trade training preferred.
• 4 years of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift operator license required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and work orders.
• Experience with CMMS and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform required PMs and repairs on facility equipment.
• Inspect operating characteristics and document performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, fire life safety, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as transformers, motors, MCC panels, VFDs.
• Maintain safety, participate in meetings, manage parts and vendor relations.
• May oversee non-customary schedules and travel.
