Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

You will review work orders, estimate resources, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a supporting role within the Engineering and Technical Services function. The role requires hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and leadership capabilities to coach others and drive reliability across facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage tools and supplies.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise emergency repairs as needed.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to meet design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily work tasks.
• Apply standard practices to complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Coach teammates and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact customer, operational or project activities within the team.

Education

High School Diploma / GED with 4-5 years of experience
