Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, and grounds. You will review work orders, estimate resources, and maintain supplies.

This role requires certification and a valid driver’s license, plus prior supervisory experience. Responsibilities include ensuring life safety, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems operate within design specifications, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma is required.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to meet or exceed equipment lifespans.
• Ensure building systems meet design specifications and environmental conditions.
• Oversee compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily tasks.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and contribute to CBRE RIS E values.
