Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Facilities Manager to deliver high-quality FM services across client sites, ensuring safety, operational excellence, and cost-effective maintenance. You will lead a team, coordinate with vendors, and drive continuous improvement in service standards.

The role involves coordinating meetings, managing emergencies, conducting inspections, and ensuring SLAs are met within budget. Senior collaboration with HR and operations is required for staffing and training plans.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive facilities management experience.
• Training or tertiary qualifications in hotel management, building management, or business (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in facility management software (e.g., Maximo) is an asset.
• Knowledge of emergency response, health & safety, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and VIP visits, including mailroom/front office/housekeeping.
• Maintain Emergency Response Plan with drills and after-hours incident response.
• Perform daily front‑office and lobby inspections and coordinate repairs to uphold standards.
• Serve as primary contact for vendors and subcontractors; review SLAs and contracts.
• Lead Facilities Management team to ensure maintenance meets commitments and budget.
• Develop SLAs and assist procurement in closing vendor contracts.
• Assess service levels and conduct contractor performance reviews.
• Set annual goals for cost savings in energy and maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with wage, labor, and statutory regulations and maintain records.
• Advise clients on maintenance budgets and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Audit and train staff on quality policies; provide performance appraisals and training recommendations.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to align staffing and training plans.
• Prepare monthly/ad-hoc MIS reports for JLL management and client reporting.
• Engage in cross-functional discussions to improve service levels and client satisfaction.
• Enable smooth communication across client and JLL teams.
• Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, conference room upkeep, and general facility operations.
