Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of buildings meet safety and quality standards. You will handle work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with make-ready processes to prepare units for leasing.

Responsibilities include documenting work, stocking materials, and maintaining grounds and amenities while supporting cost-control measures and safety procedures across the community.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required (Type I/II or Universal).
• Licensure to operate a vehicle on property (valid driver's license).

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Prepares vacated units for leasing, conducts pre-move-out inspections, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, and ensures timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervision when reordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting in cost-control through efficient use of parts.

Education

EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
