Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards across property environments. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and support make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inventory tracking, and reporting; additional duties cover grounds upkeep and cost-saving repairs. Safety training and OSHA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification Type I and II or Universal is required for service technicians.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart or vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Prepares vacant homes for leasing and move-ins with make-ready tasks.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA Type I & II or Universal refrigerant certification

State and Local certification requirements
