Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to provide technical support, direction, safety training, audits, and quality control for a fast-paced industrial environment. You will prioritize work, ensure on-time completion, and manage documentation while coordinating training for multi-functional staff.

The role requires experience in supervision, safety programs, and continuous improvement, with strong MS Excel/Access skills and familiarity with Maximo/SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on Excel and Access.
• Experience in a supervisory or subcontract management capacity within a technical industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a leadership position demonstrating the ability to analyze Facilities Maintenance related problems and determine solutions.
• Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and presenting to large audiences.
• Experience in development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce.
• Experience in creating metrics and data mining to drive performance results.
• Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M’s, etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.
• Manages reactive/corrective maintenance as reported and assigns to technicians.
• Leads safety program for the worksite and maintains safety reporting.
• Audits work performance for safety actions and quality of work; provides coaching.
• Reviews new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work and addresses accordingly.
• Maintains performance of individuals and the worksite team.
• Reviews and approves time reporting.
• Compiles and presents reports to management and client teams.
• Participates in cost savings and root cause analysis.
