Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Mossville, IL to lead a team of multi-skilled technicians in a fast-paced industrial facility. The role oversees safety, compliance, and quality control while coordinating maintenance projects and staffing to meet cost, schedule, and client requirements.

The supervisor reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager and will manage workload, safety training, performance reviews, and client communications, including overtime where needed,

Qualifications

• High School graduate or demonstrated equivalent.
• Ten years of progressively responsible industrial facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a security access badge at the client location.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership ensuring an accident-free workplace and safety for employees and tenants.
• Maintain effective two-way communications with management and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Facilities and Production Maintenance teams.
• Plan, assign, and monitor workload to meet project timelines and quality objectives.
• Assist in staffing, development, evaluations, and employee relations.
