Job summary

Amentum is seeking a facilities maintenance leader in the Richmond area to oversee work management processes, asset lifecycle, and inventory control. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities while ensuring safety and reliability goals are met.

The role requires a strong background in CMMS (Maximo) and MS Office, with 8+ years in industrial facilities maintenance and 5+ years in supervisory roles. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight years of industrial Facilities Maintenance experience with five+ years in supervisory roles.
• Experience using CMMS and MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Staff management experience, including disciplinary action, hiring, terminating, and performance appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement work management processes, including planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities.
• Ensure effective asset management practices, including lifecycle management and inventory control.
• Collaborate with the Reliability Manager to align work management initiatives with reliability goals.
• Monitor work management metrics and report on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the work management team and ensure adherence to best practices; hire, train, and performance manage.
• Coordinate maintenance work order planning and scheduling processes; ensure timely completion and safety compliance.
• Maintain asset records and ensure accurate documentation of asset conditions and performance.
• Provide mentoring and support for other facilities programs and initiatives.
