Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure indoor/outdoor community spaces meet Greystar quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and participate in the make-ready process for vacant homes.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer service for residents and teams. The position requires tools, EPA certifications as applicable, and a flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Must possess tools and ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exterior, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing components when feasible.
