Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Building Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams across residential properties in the Alexandria area. You will resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues while ensuring timely follow-ups on resident service tickets and keeping the property in top condition.

You will manage make-ready processes, oversee preventative maintenance, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities, or residential building maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Availability for emergency situations and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Address resident service tickets with timely follow-up and thorough completion.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs as needed.
• Manage make-ready and turnover processes to lease units quickly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain building safety and cleanliness.
• Support safety codes and on-site emergency operations, including weekends.
