Job summary

Bozzuto is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our residential properties. You will oversee a team, schedule on-site work, and drive timely resolution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues while ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will manage preventative maintenance programs, supervise training, and coordinate with vendors to keep properties in top condition. This role requires extensive field experience and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in facilities or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience with hiring and developing teams.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems (central plant, split systems, boilers, chillers).
• Availability for on-call emergency coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto's values and culture.
• Hire, develop, and manage on-the-job and classroom training for technicians.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance issues (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances).
• Manage make-ready and turnover processes to lease apartments quickly.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and safety compliance across the property.
• Maintain vendor relationships within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate staffing and 24/7 emergency coverage.
