Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead on-site maintenance operations across our residential communities. You will supervise technicians, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safe, compliant, and timely service tickets while upholding Bozzuto’s standards.

The role demands 7+ years in facilities or residential building maintenance with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair expertise, plus a HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

An education in the trades and 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
3+ years of supervisory experience and a track record of hiring, developing and retaining high performing teams.
HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
Exposure to complex mechanical systems such as central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers.
Safety mindset and an eye for detail.
Builder’s mentality (know it like you built it!).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A sharp professional appearance.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and various technology platforms.
Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
Ability to exert 25–50 lbs of force frequently, climb stairs, use ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.

Following up with residents and completing service tickets promptly.
Resolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair issues.
Managing make-ready and turnover processes for leasing readiness.
Carrying out preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
Maintaining building aesthetics, safety, and grounds upkeep.
Ensuring peak efficiency of all property systems.
Adhering to building codes and safe operating practices.
Overseeing annual building system inspections.
Leading capital improvements and special projects within budget.
Managing vendor relationships and project parameters.
Coordinating staffing and ensuring 24/7 emergency coverage.
