Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Building Maintenance Manager in the Atlanta area. The role focuses on preserving and protecting property assets, leading maintenance teams, and ensuring residents receive excellent service.

You will manage repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances while overseeing make-readies and turnover to support leasing activities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance, HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Exposure to complex mechanical systems such as central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers desired.
• A safety mindset and an eye for detail.
• A builder’s mentality (know it like you built it!).
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Care for residents through timely follow-ups and complete service tickets.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
• Manage make-ready and turnover to enable leasing and move-ins.
• Maintain building value with preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure cleanliness, grounds upkeep, and safety of the community.
• Keep peak efficiency for all property components.
• Comply with building, county and safety codes; ensure accident-free operations.
• Participate in weekend work and emergency on-call rotation.
