Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and residential service operations at our Philadelphia area properties. The role focuses on supervising skilled technicians, managing on‑call coverage, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in facilities or residential building maintenance, 3+ years in supervision, and HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance (7+ years)
• Experience in supervising teams (3+ years)
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification required.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems such as central plant, boilers and chillers.
• Safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Builder's mentality with hands-on approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to uphold Bozzuto's values and culture
• Hire, develop and coach techs and care associates
• Respond to resident service tickets with timely follow‑up
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues
• Manage make-ready and turnover processes for leasing readiness
• Maintain building systems and preventative maintenance programs
• Oversee grounds, snow removal and general upkeep for safety and aesthetics
• Ensure 24/7 on‑call coverage and staffing schedules
• Maintain compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Oversee capital projects within budget and vendor management
• Supervise vendor relationships and budget adherence
• Coordinate and monitor annual building systems inspections
• Commit to safety and continuous process improvements
• Establish and manage on‑site safety practices and incident reporting
