Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a facilities maintenance associate in Roanoke, VA. You will perform cleaning, basic repairs, and customer assistance while keeping the garage area safe and presentable.

Responsibilities include daily garage walks, trash disposal, painting, bulb replacement, snow removal, and reporting repairs. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred; some shifts may include weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Availability for 3rd shift and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Customer service-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed to keep the facility neat.
• Walk the garage daily to identify maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Sweep entrances, exits, and stairwells; clean rails and surfaces.
• Empty all trashcans in garage, booth, and office areas.
• Paint surfaces as needed to maintain appearance and safety.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and report repairs via the proper channel.
• Monitor gate arms, ticket spitters and ensure proper operations.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints with supervisor guidance.
