Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, located in Columbus, OH, is seeking a facility maintenance associate to support cleaning, repairs, and customer service in a high-traffic garage environment. The role involves walking the garage, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across entrances, offices, and restrooms.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to work 3rd shift and weekends, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• May require facility maintenance, electrical and/or painting experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Speaks clearly; lists and clarifies; responds well to questions.
• Reads and interprets written information.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per the facility checklists to remove dirt, dust, litter and debris.
• Walk garage daily to note and correct maintenance problems.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, rails, booths, offices and restrooms.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and apply absorbent to oil spills.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests and check ticket gates regularly.
• Operate sweepers, scrubbers and other equipment; maintain equipment.
• Assist customers within the facility and resolve complaints with supervision if needed.
• Maintain neat uniform and professional appearance; perform other duties as assigned.
