Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker to uphold safe and efficient grounds, facility, and equipment. The role requires following daily schedules, reporting incidents, and coordinating with nursing staff for resident areas.

You will perform routine tasks and respond to equipment issues to ensure a smooth operation. The position emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Strong math, reading, and comprehension abilities.
• Effective communication with residents, staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Replace bulbs, clean windows, and service heating/cooling units as needed.
• Follow safety precautions and maintain equipment and supplies.
