Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance worker to keep the grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, efficient condition. Responsibilities include following scheduled maintenance, reporting accidents, coordinating with nursing staff, and performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.

The role requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, follow instructions, and maintain resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shifts and areas.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
