Job summary

PACS is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, efficient condition. The role supports resident comfort through timely upkeep, basic repairs, and adherence to policies.

You will follow scheduled work plans, assist with routine tasks, and coordinate with nursing staff as needed. The position emphasizes safety, confidentiality of resident information, and professional teamwork in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education required.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, staff, visitors, and the public.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of maintenance work areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine duties.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance with nursing services.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment.
• Replace light bulbs and cleaning duties as needed.
• Service HVAC units and other systems per guidelines.
• Follow safety precautions and use equipment properly.
• Maintain supplies in work areas and assist others as needed.
