Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information including protected health information.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Replace burned out lights and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with lifting heavy items as needed.
