Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance worker to uphold the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner at our care center. The role supports nursing services during daily tasks and ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, replace lighting, service HVAC units, and maintain confidential resident information as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Follow maintenance schedules; coordinate with nursing services for daily tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Replace burned out light bulbs and service lighting; clean windows and screens.
• Report accidents, equipment malfunctions, and confidentiality of resident information.
