Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for keeping the grounds, facility, and equipment in safe and efficient condition in line with federal, state, and local standards and our policies. You will follow schedules, report incidents, coordinate with nursing services during routine tasks, and perform repairs as directed.

The role includes routine maintenance of structures and systems, bulb replacement, cleaning, and ensuring confidential handling of resident information.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Must maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Replace bulbs and clean areas; service heating/cooling units as directed.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment is properly stored at end of shift.
