Job summary

PACS seeks a Grounds and Facility Maintenance worker to maintain grounds, buildings, and equipment in a healthcare environment. You will perform routine maintenance, repair building systems, and ensure safety and cleanliness in accordance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, coordinating with nursing staff, reporting incidents, and ensuring proper storage and confidentiality of resident information.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written or schedule form.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and facility systems.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical components as directed.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper storage of equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Move residents possessions carefully when necessary.
