Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold grounds, facilities, and equipment in a healthcare environment. The role requires following established maintenance schedules and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will perform routine tasks, report incidents promptly, and adhere to safety procedures while maintaining clean and orderly work areas in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education required.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Keep work areas clean and organized; store equipment properly.
• Follow safety precautions and report safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
