Job summary

East Missouri Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Facilities/Fleet Manager to oversee daily maintenance, repair, and operational management of EMAA facilities and vehicles.

You will develop bids, evaluate contracts, and manage service agreements and leases. The role requires an Associate’s degree in facilities management or related field with 4 years of related work experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of education, plus 1–2 years of supervisory work.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management or related field plus 4 years of related work experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience are required.
• Candidate should have knowledge of general building, grounds, maintenance, repairs and/or renovation project management; budgeting, cost control and facility operational planning.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work in moderate noise, and travel; Missouri driver’s license and license to drive class E or willingness to obtain it within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance, repair, and operational management of EMAA facilities and vehicles.
• Develop and issue requests for bids and evaluate vendor contracts; negotiate and manage service contracts and leases.
• Perform facility safety and licensing inspections and implement quality control measures for safe, efficient facilities.
