East Missouri Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Facilities/Fleet Manager to oversee daily maintenance, repair, and operational management of EMAA facilities and vehicles.
You will develop bids, evaluate contracts, and manage service agreements and leases. The role requires an Associate’s degree in facilities management or related field with 4 years of related work experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of education, plus 1–2 years of supervisory work.
East Missouri Action Agency has an opening fora Facilities/Fleet Manager. This position oversees and coordinate the daily maintenance, repair, and operational management of EMAA facilities and vehicles. Responsible for developing and issuing requests for bids, evaluating vendor contracts, as well as negotiating and managing service contracts and leases. Performs facility safety and licensing inspections. Implements quality control measures to ensure safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities.
An Associate's Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience is required. A total of 6 years of related work experience can be substituted for the required education. 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience is required. Candidate should have knowledge of general building, grounds, maintenance, repairs and/or renovation project management as well as knowledge of budgeting, cost control and facility operational planning. The ability to operate cleaning and maintenance handheld tools and equipment, communicate effectively, organize time effectively, exercise sound judgment, and deal with confrontation and stressful situations in a constructive and professional manner is required. The person in this position should be able to lift up to 75 pounds easily, work in moderate noise levels and drive in poor weather conditions. A valid Missouri driver's license, access to a licensed and insured vehicle and the willingness to travel for agency purposes is required. Candidate should have a Class E license or be willing to obtain said license within 60 days of employment.
Starting pay range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000/year. This position works Monday - Thursday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, for a total of 36 hours/week.
