Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer role focusing on monitoring, maintenance, and repair of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety components.

You will support preventive maintenance programs, ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, and seek efficient operation of facilities. This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 4–5 years of related experience, with universal CFC preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by jurisdiction.
• Shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire and life-safety systems.
• Ensure building systems operate to codes, standards and client environmental conditions.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain safe storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building systems to ensure performance and environmental conditions.
