Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a facilities technician for 11917 AMC Summit - Facilities, full-time, 40 hours per week in Wisconsin. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair complex facility systems, and ensure Building Automation Systems operate reliably.

This role requires 4+ years of related maintenance experience, advanced technical training, a valid driver's license, and ability to work 2nd shift with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training.
• 4+ years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Valid Driver’s License and a trades-related certification/license requiring CEUs or renewal.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors building automation systems and advanced utility equipment.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
• Reads blueprints and Life Safety drawings for task completion.
