Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled facilities technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex systems. This role requires 4+ years of relevant experience and advanced technical training, with the ability to read blueprints and operate building automation systems.

Hours are 7am–3:30pm, with on-call coverage including some weekends (approx. five per year). A valid driver’s license and trade certification are required.

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes technical training.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment and building automation systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.
