Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker at Aurora St Luke's Medical Center in Wisconsin. This full-time, on-site role includes routine repairs, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance, with a 3rd shift 11:00pm–7:30am Sunday night through Thursday night.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, plus basic computer skills and strong communication abilities. No prior experience is required, and a competitive pay range with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/basic skills in maintenance and groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine repairs such as carpentry and plumbing, changes light bulbs and filters.
• Maintains equipment and performs minor repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and maintains records.
• Monitors building temperature and reports conditions.
• Maintains inventory of parts and tools.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed.
• Cleans and maintains property appearance.
• Cuts and maintains landscaping and plants areas.
• Removes snow and cleans parking areas.
• Operates equipment to perform job duties.
