Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field-focused Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance programs and keep Micro-Fulfillment Center facilities ready. You will manage CMMS records (Fexa), audit site data, coordinate landlord repairs, and drive vendor performance with General Managers and field teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Willingness to travel 2–5 days per month, including overnight travel.
• Basic knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration preferred.
• Experience managing consultants and 3rd party property management vendors.
• Experience with lease agreements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all Facilities team systems and records
• Input new sites into the CMMS (Fexa) and audit the system for accurate information
• Review lease agreements and record landlord and tenant repair responsibilities in the department database
• Communicate with landlords to obtain site-specific information and coordinate landlord-responsibility repairs
• Handle waste removal issues, adjust pickup frequency, and record schedules
• Receive, manage, and track repair and purchase requests through the Fexa ticketing system
• Obtain competitive bids and hire contractors/vendors for necessary repairs
• Drive contractors/vendors to complete projects within required timelines
• Conduct regular site visits to nationally located Micro-Fulfillment Centers to audit facility conditions, inspect repairs, verify vendor performance, and build field leadership relationships
• Track budget versus actual costs for each job or purchase
• Communicate with General Managers and field teams about upcoming repairs and projects
• Help implement preventative maintenance programs, including pest control, HVAC, refrigeration, and fire safety
• Collaborate with other departments and assist Facilities Managers with special projects

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel 2–5 days per month, including overnight travel via plane/car, to visit assigned MFC sites across the country
• Basic knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration preferred
• Experience with commercial leases preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Experience managing consultants and 3rd party property management vendors
• Ability to handle emergency situations quickly to minimize business changes in the field
• Strong customer service and vendor relationship building skills
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Willingness to work nights and weekend shifts
