Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Government Sales Director - Software to lead and expand our strategic relationship with the FAA and related partners. This senior role focuses on growth, opportunity development, and multi-element software-enabled engagements across platforms, services, and development initiatives.

The candidate will own the account growth strategy, manage complex deals, and coordinate cross-functional teams to shape tailored solutions for government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Experience working with U.S. government customers, ideally the FAA or related federal agencies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FAA account growth strategy with a primary focus on pipeline development, new business capture, revenue expansion, and market penetration.
• Identify, qualify, shape, and close new business opportunities across a portfolio of complex offerings.
• Build executive-level relationships across procurement, contracting, and program leadership to position GE Aerospace for future wins.
• Develop and execute capture strategies, pursuit plans, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities and timelines.
