Job summary

Houston Grand – River Oaks seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee restaurant and room service operations, including breakfast, lunch and dinner periods. The role emphasizes budgeting, staff supervision, and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position; hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; handle discipline when needed.
• Forecast, monitor, and report on budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Respond to guest trends and issues to ensure a quality experience.
• Ensure sanitation and maintenance of outlets comply with regulations and SOPs.
