Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts invites recent graduates to join its Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training program, a 12-month fast-track development path across Outlets, Banquets and Culinary departments.

As an MIT, you will shadow leaders, rotate through shifts, attend leadership meetings, and learn to operate the PMS and labor-cost tools while building a foundation for a long-term HEI career.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Flexibility to relocate for placement after completion of the MIT program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; adapt communication style to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders within all Outlets, Banquets and Culinary departments.
• Complete shifts in each position within the Outlets and Banquets.
• Attend department and leadership meetings in the F&B discipline.
• Become proficient with PMS and other F&B systems.
• Use labor tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with guests and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Understand steps of service for all meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with F&B SOPs and policies.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
