Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in Texas offers a Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training (F&B MIT) program designed for recent graduates. The 12-month track immerses you in all areas of the Food and Beverage discipline, with rotations through Outlets, Banquets and Culinary operations to build a solid foundation for a long-term HEI career.

You will shadow leaders, rotate through positions, attend leadership meetings, and learn to manage labor costs and PMS systems while delivering exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Flexibility to relocate for placement after completion of the MIT program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders across Outlets, Banquets and Culinary departments.
• Complete shifts in each hotel Outlets and Banquets position.
• Attend department and leadership meetings.
• Become proficient with PMS and other F&B systems.
• Utilize labor tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction.
• Understand steps of service for all meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and Policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
