Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts invites recent hospitality graduates to join the Food & Beverage Manager-in-Training program. The MIT spans 12 months across outlets, banquets and culinary operations, exposure to PMS, labor tools, and leadership collaboration for a broad foundation in F&B management.

Successful candidates gain hands-on experience, shadow leaders, attend leadership meetings, and prepare for future leadership roles within HEI’s upscale hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Flexibility to relocate for placement after MIT completion.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders within outlets, banquets and culinary departments.
• Complete shifts in each position within outlets and banquets.
• Attend department and leadership meetings at the hotel.
• Become proficient with the PMS and other F&B systems.
• Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Understand steps of service for all meal periods.
• Comply with SOPs and attendance rules; be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned within F&BMIT scope.
