Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is offering a Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training Program designed as a fast-track development for recent graduates. The MIT spends 12 months immersing in all areas of the F&B discipline, providing a foundation for a long-term HEI career in hotels and resorts across the U.S.

The program emphasizes shadowing leaders, rotations through outlets and banquets, and gaining proficiency with PMS and labor cost controls, with a path to leadership positions within HEI.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Flexibility to relocate for placement after completion of the MIT program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders within all Outlets, Banquets and Culinary departments.
• Complete shifts in each position within Outlets and Banquets.
• Attend department and leadership meetings to stay aligned with F&B objectives.
• Become proficient with PMS and other F&B systems.
• Use labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve issues to maintain service quality.
• Understand steps of service for all meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with F&B SOPs and policies.
• Be reliable and available to work regularly.
