Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts offers a Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training Program designed for recent college graduates. The MIT will spend 12 months immersing in all areas of the F&B discipline, building a foundation for a long-term career within HEI.

The program shadows leaders, rotates through outlets and banquets, attends leadership meetings, and develops proficiency with PMS and labor management tools to optimize costs and service quality.

Qualifications

• Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred.
• Flexibility to relocate for placement after completion of the MIT program.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders across Outlets, Banquets and Culinary departments.
• Complete shifts in each position within the Outlets and Banquets.
• Attend department and leadership meetings in F&B.
• Become proficient with PMS and other F&B systems.
• Use labor tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Understand steps of service for all meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with F&B SOPs and policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work.
