Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician in Arizona to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients with frame selection, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses while maintaining high patient satisfaction and accurate documentation in the EHR/ALE system.

You will advise on lens treatments, educate on insurance coverage, and maintain strong product knowledge to deliver a personalized eyewear experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure required
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required
• Optical dispensing experience required
• HIPAA familiarity preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and coordination

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit prescription, lifestyle and style
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing
• Provide exceptional patient care and educate on care, warranties, and insurance
• Interpret prescriptions and enter into EHR/ALE system
• Follow up on orders and communicate status to patients
• Inspect final products for quality and adjust as needed
• Collaborate with technicians and managers to resolve issues
