Job summary

AEG Vision, LLC is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements, and deliver a high-quality experience.

You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, insurance options, and lens technologies while delivering accurate dispensing and attentive service in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories to fit prescription, lifestyle and style.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranty, and insurance coverage.
• Enter prescription details into EHR/ALE and ensure documentation is complete.
• Dispense glasses, verify fit, and adjust for comfort and acuity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of displays and work areas.
