Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients with frame and lens selection, ensure proper fit, and dispense accurately. A commitment to quality and patient satisfaction drives trust and repeat business.

You will maintain knowledge of products, rebates, insurance, and warranty options while delivering an extraordinary patient experience and coordinating with technicians and doctors.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and word processing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary patient experience and explain customized product recommendations.
• Assist patients in frame and lens selection, measurements, and dispensing.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, insurance, pricing, and warranties.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR and communicate order status with patients.
