Affinity Eye Care is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on-site in Kennebunk, ME. You will guide patients through frame and lens selections, verify prescriptions, and ensure precise dispensing while maintaining outstanding service.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, insurance literacy, and strong communication to build trust, handle orders, and deliver a seamless patient experience at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Requires High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• PC skills including Microsoft Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience by explaining customized eyewear recommendations.
• Receives handoffs from technicians/doctors and asks lifestyle questions to match frames and lenses.
• Keeps up to date on products, rebates, lenses, and frame options.
• Takes/returns patient calls; updates on orders and escalates issues to management.
