Job summary

Affinity Eye Care is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will help patients select frames, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, updating the EHR, assisting with insurance questions, and maintaining product knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide eyewear recommendations and ensure proper frame fit and lens dispensing.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lens types; explain insurance and pricing.
• Keep up-to-date on products, procedures, rebates, and lens options.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR; communicate order status.
• Inspect and adjust eyewear for accuracy, fit, and patient comfort.
