Zusammenfassung

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on-site. You will help patients select frames, lenses, and accessories, ensuring accurate measurements and proper lens dispensing.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, processing orders in the EHR/ALE system, and guiding patients on insurance coverage and care. Join a team committed to quality, service, and ongoing learning.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required or equivalent.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office and Windows.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories based on prescription, lifestyle and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing with quality service.
• Explain insurance benefits, copays and coverage clearly to patients.
• Enter prescription details into EHR/ALE and attach documentation.
• Provide education on eye care, lens types, coatings, and warranty options.
