Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Optician to sell eyewear and accessories, fit frames to patient needs, and dispense lenses per prescription. You will take eye and facial measurements, interpret doctor prescriptions, and coordinate with lab technicians to ensure timely orders.

Responsibilities include assisting patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments, performing adjustments for comfort and acuity, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA requirements knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent customer service.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand up to 8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Sell eyewear and eyewear accessories to patients.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens types, and treatments.
• Interpret prescriptions and take accurate eye/face measurements.
• Create work orders for lab technicians and track order status.
• Dispense glasses, adjust fit, and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize displays and boards.
• Collaborate with technicians, front desk, managers, and optometrists.
