Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to enhance the Total Patient Experience by combining patient care with optical sales. You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on Optometrist prescriptions, aligning patient needs with available products and services.

The role supports medical needs, requires precise measurements, and involves frame selection and lens recommendations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior ophthalmic/medical office experience preferred.
• A favorable background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients and support medical needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinate with measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer, educate on lenses and coatings.
• Collect measurements (e.g., PD, bridge, eye size, seg heights) accurately.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and repair/adjust frames.
